William Mark Griffin

William M. Griffin, age 66 passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Eldora, Iowa. He was born on September 13, 1957 in Anchorage, Alaska to Don and Jean Griffin. 

After graduating from high school, William served in the U.S. Army as a medic, after the service he spent most of his time in Colorado and Texas. William married Melodie Drown in Arlington, Texas on July 9, 1983. They lived in Fort Worth, Texas area before moving to Eldora, Iowa in the spring of 1995. He was employed by Quality Products and IA Pre Stress in Iowa Falls. In his spare time, William loved to spend time fishing at Pine Lake. He definitely had a favorite spot! 

William will be dearly missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Melodie of Eldora, Iowa, sons; William Eugene Griffin of Ft. Worth, Texas, Avery Griffin of Eldora, Iowa, sisters; Beth Ruffa of Oakland, California, Jean Burk of Lubbock, Texas, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. 

A memorial service for William will be held at a later date.
