Veva R Moore, 84, of Eldora, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. The family will hold inurnment privately at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Eldora Lions Club to be used for Chapel on the Hill. Creps-Abels Funeral Home is caring for Veva and her family.
Veva was born on November 18, 1932, in Shannon City, Iowa to her parents Everett “Curly” and Edna Nisely. She attended Villisca High School in Villisca, Iowa. Veva worked as a secretary for most of her life. She was united in Marriage to Keith Moore on January 21, 1950 in Villisca, Iowa.
Veva enjoyed sewing, cooking, and knitting. Of all the things Veva enjoyed most, it was her 3 daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Veva is survived by her daughters Jodene (Jack) Witmer, Diane (Mark) Ryerson, and Jana Corkrean; 7 grandchildren Shona, Brian, Chad, Emily, Brad, Brent, and Mikaela; great grandchildren Ella, Hendrix, Nolan, Cale, and Bryleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith, and her son-in-law, Rich Corkrean.
