Thomas Mazurik

Thomas A. Mazurik, 41, of Eldora, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2012. Following cremation, memorial services will be at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora with Pastor Corey Larson officiating. Tom was born February 1, 1972, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of David and Charlotte (Baker) Mazurik. He lived his entire life in Eldora, graduating from Eldora-New Providence High School with the class of 1991. On June 22, 1996 he was united in marriage to Monica Suzanne Paul at the Great Commission Church in Marshalltown. Tom worked as a plumber for Hampton Heating and Cooling.

Tom was an avid outdoors-man and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. He was a member of the NRA and Pheasants Forever. He also loved attending his children's sporting events and shooting with his son, Andy. Tom was very "handy" and could fix almost anything.

Surviving is his wife, Monica; mother, Charlotte of Eldora; children Becky and Andy of Eldora; and sister, Sandy Williams of Eldora. He was preceded in death by his father, David; and grandparents, Guy and LuDora Baker, and Buba Mazurik.
