Sandra Kay Jensen, 74 was born on June 22, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Frank and Edith Cole, and passed away on February 5, 2025, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a dedicated and hardworking individual, having spent a significant part of her career as a molder at Norwesco Plastics for 10 years. Sandra’s commitment to her work reflected her strong character and determination.
In 1982, Sandra achieved her GED through Hawkeye Tech, showcasing her commitment to personal growth and education. Her kindness and welcoming nature made her a joy to be around, as she consistently put others at ease. She had a particular love for spending time with her family, cherishing moments spent together, especially during the holidays.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Shelley (Roger) Homewood, and her son, Russell Good. She was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life. Additionally, Sandra is remembered by her sister, Kathy Rappel, and her brothers, Denny Cole and Steve Cole.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Edith (Blackburn) Cole, her daughter, Kelley Good, and her siblings: Peggy Price, Wendy Sunberg, Donnie Cole, and Darrell Cole.
Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew her. Her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
