Sandra Ellen Beach was born to Harold and Ellen (Kopplin) Beach on March 18th, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was educated in Reinbeck, Iowa graduating with the class of 1968. Sandy would later attend Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo, Iowa obtaining her LPN certificate. On December 12th, 1977 Sandy and Kevin Ray DeBerg were united in marriage at St John's Lutheran Church in Reinbeck, Iowa. Together the two would make their home here to raise their family. Sandy was a mother and a housewife. She loved her family, especially her grandkids. Every day at noon they would gather around Sandy's dining room table for lunch with all of their friends. She also enjoyed taking road trips around Iowa visiting churches. Sandy was always prepared and ready for whatever lay ahead of her. She supported the arts whether it be singing in church or playing Marian the librarian in "The Music Man" at the community theater or water color painting. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church.

"To say she was feisty and full of life is an understatement. She had great faith and to me was the true meaning of "family" in all it's glory. My wish to you is to have a person in your life like Sandy"

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kevin DeBerg, daughter Rachael Robinett, grandchildren Daniel Robinett and Waverly Robinett. Sister Lauria (Daniel) Finazzo, sisters-in-law Pamela (Dave) Benson, Stacy Harms, brothers-in-law Kent (Terri) DeBerg, Brent (Brenda) DeBerg. Nieces Natalie (Dave) Fox, Ellen (Paul) Schaumberg, Krista DeBerg, nephews Chad (Amber) DeBerg, Nicholas DeBerg, Steven DeBerg, Michael DeBerg, Ronald Harms, a great-niece and 4 great-nephews.
