Samantha Anne Weber (26) of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away suddenly on July 24th, 2016, at the University of Iowa. A public visitation will be held on Monday, August 1st, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck, at 10:30 am. Samantha was never a fan of flowers; the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Waverly Pet Rescue in Sam's name. French Hand Funeral Home is caring for Samantha and her family. Samantha Anne Weber was born to Thomas and Dian (Smiley) Junker on August 8th, 1989, at Covenant Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. She was educated at the Grundy Center High School, graduating with the class of 2007. Sam continued her education at the University of Iowa, Hawkeye Community College, Kaplan and Allen College where she obtained her BSN. On December 14th, 2013, Samantha and Jared Thomas Weber were united in marriage in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Together the two made their home in Waterloo, Iowa. She was an employee of Naph Care, working at the Blackhawk County jail, also as a nurse at Allen Hospital and then with Unity Point Hospice. She enjoyed skiing; both water and snow, vacations, going to breakfast, having a few drinks, all-day shopping trips to Des Moines with mom, sitting and talking with her family while giving her brothers grief. Sam loved the snow. She loved cold weather; which gave her the opportunity to shop for more boots. Sam also especially loved dogs. She will be remembered as a giving and fun loving person.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Jared Weber, their two dogs; Izzy and Elouise, parents; Thomas and Dian Junker, siblings; Terry (Julia) Junker, Treva Junker, Kristina (Justin) Kreisel, Scott(Becca Walker) Junker, grandparents; Jean Smiley and Frederick Junker.
In death, she rejoins her grandparents; L. Travis Smiley and Norma Junker
