Rosemary K. Lloyd, 76, of Sparks, Oklahoma, formerly of Union, Iowa died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home in Sparks, Oklahoma. Local funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Union, Iowa with Pastor Roger Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldora City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora. Rosemary was born on July 19, 1936 in Marshalltown, Iowa, daughter of Kenneth and Eloise (Scott) Lyon. She married Duane Kenneth Lloyd on July 1, 1953. Rosemary worked as a nurse for many years.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dean Ray and Rose Lloyd of Sulphur, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Don Schoenecke of Sparks, Oklahoma; sister, Elizabeth Wilson of Marshalltown; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Duane on May 3, 2009.
