Roger Gene Haan 53, of Parkersburg, Iowa, died Friday, December 15, 2006, at Mary Brigh Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Roger was born April 30, 1953, in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Harold Ubbe and Lillian (Sents) Haan. He attended school in Parkersburg graduating in 1971. He then attended Gates Business School in Waterloo for accounting. He worked as a bookkeeper at Bacon Veneer in Grundy Center for several years. He then went to work as a bookkeeper for J.C. Feeds in Waterloo. The business was sold and became Clow & Co. and then this past fall was sold again this time to Challenger Feeds. Roger was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Roger enjoyed growing flowers, plants, and fruit trees.
He is survived by his brother Dennis Lee and his wife Helen J. Haan of Baraboo, Wisconsin; a sister: Nancy Carol and her husband Larry Gene Skipper of McLoud, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Ernest Gene Skipper.
