Randall Beard

Randall Lee “Randy” Beard, 59, of Hudson, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his brother’s home in Hudson, Iowa. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Randy was born on January 30, 1961 in Waterloo, Iowa to his parents Robert and Donna Beard. He was raised in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School. He then began working for many years at Land O Lakes in the shipping and receiving department. He then went to Hawkeye Tech, earned his CDL and then went to work for the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Randy loved to fish and hunt. He looked on his co-workers at the DOT as his second family and was an avid Kansas City Chief’s fan. Randy’s true joy in life was spending time with his dogs and his family especially his nieces and nephews.

Randy is survived by his brother Bob Beard; niece Stephanie (Shane) Wait, their children Lindsey and Spencer; Brett Beard, his children Prycely, Berkley and Bryley; and Brandon Beard; and his aunt Judy Osborne. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Donna.
