Patricia Ann (Martin) Watson, 70, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 in Simpsonville, SC. Memorials may be directed to the family. Patricia Ann Martin was born March 26, 1938, in Barnes City, Iowa, the Daughter of Dale and Evelyn (Cook) Martin. Patricia graduated from Barnes City High School, and received her degree from Iowa Teacher College (now University of Northern Iowa) and taught at Reinbeck High School. On December 24, 1961 Pat was united in marriage to Donald Watson in Montezuma, Iowa. Pat was a member of the Reinbeck United Methodist Church serving in various organizations. She enjoyed volunteering at the Park View Manor, helped deliver Meals on Wheels and was actively involved with the cub scouts, boy scouts, and girl scouts for many years. Pat served on the library board during the building of the new library, and was active with of Cedar Valley Arboretum. She was a member of the Women?s Club. Pat loved quilting, making rugs on the loom, reading, spending time with her family, and tending to her gardens and landscaping. She is survived by four daughters, Donna Bell and her husband Russ of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Elaine Hossfield and her husband Bill of Hewitt, New Jersey; Carolyn Gminski and her husband Mike of St. Charles, Illinois; Glenda Martin and her husband Jeff of Simpsonville, South Carolina; a son; Kevin Watson and his wife Tammi of Plainfield, Illinois; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and parents Evelyn and Dale Martin.
