Patricia was born on September 6, 1951 in
Queens
,
NY
, the daughter of Richard A. & Norma Joyce (Joralemon) Harrison. She grew up in
Oxford
,
NY
and graduated from high school in 1969. In 1971, she received her two year degree in
Cobleskill
,
NY
in Horse Husbandry. She worked for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for 10 years. Patricia then moved to
Iowa
in 1983, purchasing her home in 1989. She has worked for the Department of Human Services for the past 25 years. Patricia enjoyed raising and showing Registered Paint Horses.
Patricia is survived by her mother Norma Joyce; her sisters Linda (the late Paul) Hunt of Sprakers, NY, Loretta (Larry) McGowan of Oxford, NY, Betty (Paul) Miller of China and Nancy (Johnny) Miller of Needville, TX; 8 nieces and nephews, preceded in death by her father Richard A. Harrison.
