Norma Norene Wilson, 86, of Reinbeck, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Grundy Center while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Per Norma's wishes, she has been cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date. There will be no public visitation or service.
She was born on March 2, 1929 in Humboldt, Kansas, the daughter of Hugh Edgar & Irma (Russell) Pearman.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; son Jeffrey Lockwood; daughter-in-law Angie Lockwood and 2 son-in-laws Rod Wiebensohn and Gary Gutknecht; 2 brothers Russell & Calvin ; brother-in-law Keith Cahalen niece Colleen Pearman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She leaves behind her five children Jeanne Gutknecht of Reinbeck, IA, Jerry (Arlene) Lockwood of Clarion, IA, Jan (Julie) Lockwood of Phoenix, AZ, Linda Brandt- Wiebensohn of Gladbrook and Ronnie Brandt of Cedar Falls, IA; 14 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; sister Shirley Cahalen of Wichita, KS.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice, 310 East G Ave., Grundy Center, IA 50638, and/or the First Presbyterian Church, 405 Broad St., Reinbeck, IA 50669.
