Nadine Elizabeth Dew, 87, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Wednesday August, 8, 2007, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit under the care of the Cedar Valley Hospice.
Nadine was born April 15, 1920, in rural Reinbeck, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard George and Nellie (Brauer) Norris. She graduated in the class of 1938 at Reinbeck High School. On March 14, 1942 she was united in marriage to LeRoy Dew at the Norris home in Morrison, Iowa. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church. She was a 4-H leader for several years and was a faithful volunteer at the Senior Center.
She is survived by her husband: LeRoy of Grundy Center; a son: Ronald Dew of LaPorte City, Iowa; a daughter Joanne and her husband Mike Potter of Andover, Minnesota; a son Roland and his wife Connie Dew of Grundy Center, Iowa; a daughter: Janice Heltibridle of Reinbeck, Iowa; a son: Jerald and his wife Kathie Dew of Grundy Center, Iowa; and a daughter: Janeen and her husband Steve Ralston, of Marshalltown, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and several step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several step great grandchildren; 2 sisters in laws: Verla Norris of Parkersburg, Iowa and Mary Dew of Fairlawn, New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter: Mary Ellen Dew; a granddaughter: Lynsee Potter; and a brother: Charles Norris.
