Mary Wrage

Mary Jean Wrage, age 46, died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN due to complications of Devic?s disease. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday, November 30, 2006 at St. Mary?s of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Eagle Center, IA, with Father Jerry Blake as the celebrant. Burial will follow Mass at Blessing Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at French Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck. There will be a Vigil service beginning at 7:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mary Jean Wrage was born on March 4, 1960 in Waterloo, IA, daughter of Delbert and Dorothy (Kuriger) Wrage. Mary had a lot of Joy?s in her life. Although this terrible disease has taken her from us, we will never forget her. Mary loved her family. She also enjoyed camping and playing with her grandson.
Mary is survived by her parents, Delbert and Dorothy Wrage of Hudson, IA; two daughters, Kasie Rae Jakel and Dani Jean Jakel both of Cedar Rapids, IA; one step-daughter, Melissa Sue Jakel of Cedar Falls, IA; one grandson, Kayden Christopher Jakel; two brothers, Rich (Colleen) Wrage of Boone, IA, Mike (Marlene) Wrage of Hudson, IA; three sisters, Roxy Wrage of Charles City, IA, Terry (Mark) Holub of Scribner, NE, Sandy (Tom) Keith of Hudson, IA.
Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Pauline Wrage, Louis and Margaret Kuriger; one infant brother.
