Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2008, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora.
A memorial fund has been established.

He was the son of Raye and Irene (Steinfeldt) Teske.
He was baptized and confirmed at
St. Paul
Lutheran
Church
in
Eldora
,
IA.
Marvin graduated from
Owasa
High School
in 1956.
He was united in marriage with Nancy Wehrman on October 8, 1960 at
St. Paul
Lutheran
Church
.
He was an active member in the church as a trustee, Sunday school superintendent, usher, elder and a member of the fellowship club.
He also loved singing in the church choir.
He was a former member of the Farm Bureau and Farm Service board.
Marvin loved to farm with his dad and brothers.
He was proud to farm both his family farm and the Wehrman century farm.
And, continued to enjoy farming with his children and grandchildren.
Marvin loved to bowl, golf, play cards, watch baseball and winter with friends in
Texas
.
He played softball for many years, and finally retired after achieving the dream of playing on the church team with both his sons.
His main focus in his life was his family and church.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Eldora; and their two sons, Tim & Rhonda Teske of Eldora, and their children, Jamie, Sarah, Shannon, and Haley; and Steve & Cari Teske of New Providence, and their children,
Trenton
, Tanner, and Treye. He is also survived by two daughters, Brenda & Brian Young of Eldora, and their children Brittany, Brooke Ibeling (Brent), Brady and Bradley, and Pam & Marty Schwarck, of Eldora.
He also is survived by two brothers, Leon & Dorothy Teske and Dale & Shirley Teske, both of Eldora, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raye & Irene (Steinfeldt) Teske.
