Marian Foster

Marian A. Foster, 93, of Reinbeck , Iowa , formerly of Hudson , Iowa , died on August 7, 2010 at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck while under their care and the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Following cremation memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck with Pastor Terry Plocher officiating.

Marian was born November 17, 1916 in Minot , North Dakota , daughter of Earl and Inga (Larsen) Penne. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Foster on August 31, 1963. Marian graduated Minot High School in 1916. She worked at the Rath Credit Union her entire career, retiring as the head cashier.

She is survived by her sister, Elyane Bishop and her husband, Al of Billings, Montana and her brother, Robert Penne and his wife, Una Mae of Bismark, North Dakota; Step-daughters, Susan Hawkins of Cincinnati, Ohio and Marilee Kemp of Highland, California; and by many nieces and nephews and their families. Marian is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Robert; brothers, Lloyd and Laverne Penne; and sister, Genevieve Hoeg.
