Linda Ruth Graeber 65, of Reinbeck, passed away on January 2, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 1:00 pm, at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck. Pastor Joel Love will be officiating. Burial will be following the service at Reinbeck Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
Linda was born the second of four Children to Howard and Ruth (Maurer) Frisch, on December 4, 1950 in Sumner, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1969. Linda was united in marriage on June 20, 1980, to Dennis Graeber in Caledonia, Minnesota.
Linda worked in food service for a short time before becoming a stay at home mother. She was a great cook and would canned the vegetables she grew in her garden. Linda also loved growing flowers, which Dennis would plant for her. In past years she could be found camping on the weekends or watching her daily soap operas. Linda was an avid reader and Scrabble player. She was a lifelong Elvis fan and visited Graceland twice.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis, her mother; Ruth, her daughter; Lisa Herselius and her grandchildren; Alex and Hunter, all of Bozeman, Montana, step-son Chris (Jesika) Graeber and her step grandchildren; Taylor, Owen, and Bailee of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, three brothers; Herb, Tim, and Tom Frisch.
