Larry Trout, 77, of Urbandale, IA passed away October 7, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines of congestive heart failure.
Larry was born November 18, 1937 to Bernard Lowell and Maxine Edwards Trout on the farm in Pleasant Township, rural New Providence. The family moved to Gifford in 1950. He attended school in New Providence and later graduating from Eldora High School, class of 1956. He married Sue Nystrom on Feb. 7, 1960 at Des Moines, IA and had two children. They later divorced in 1980. The family lived in several states while Larry worked for Super Valu in sales and warehouse design. Later he drove semi for American Freight, Heartland Express, retiring in 2012 from Centennial Warehouse.
Lary is survived by his daughter Linda Trout, Murfreesboro, TN and son Gary Trout of Russellville, KY. Granddaughter, Courtney Drolet and grandson, Kyle Trout, great grandchildren Ava, Peyton and Brooke Drolet. He is also survived by special friend Joan Erickson of Urbandale, Brothers, Neale Trout of Eldora, Marvin Trout of Urbandale, sister Barbara Neymeyer of Eldora, sister-in-law, Marcene Trout of Eldora.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Barry Trout and brother-in-law Cal Neymeyer. Per his wishes his body was cremated with burial at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Eldora.
