Larry L. Hatton, 73, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Saturday,August 16, 2008, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, of natural causes. Per Larry's wishes he was cremated and there will be a private family service at a later date. Memorials maybe made to the Reinbeck Fire Department in Larry's name. Larry Lee Hatton was born November 16, 1935, in Marshalltown, the son of David and Hazel (Anderson) Hatton. Larry attended Gilman Schools. He honorably served his country for four years, serving with the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Lee Ann Rash on July 20, 1957 in Marshalltown. Iowa. Larry started working for John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, in 1960 and retiring after 31 years of services. Larry was a member of the Reinbeck American Legion Action Post #242. His hobbies included radio controlled model airplanes, in which built and flew them and also riding his BMW motorcycle. Larry is survived by his wife, Lee Ann of Reinbeck, Iowa; mother, Hazel Nichol; two daughters- Judy( Paul) Nybeck of Edmond, OK and June (Todd) Eckhart of Reinbeck, Iowa. Grandchildren; Elaine and Karen Nybeck; Bradley and Benjamin Hunt; Ashlee and Dustin Frohn, and Travis Eckhart; and sister Raelene Schnathorst. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Raymond; one daughter- Gina Hatton; and one sister- Marlene Vincent.
