Kenneth Bosely

November 29, 1974 — April 19, 2016

Kenneth David "Bo" Bosely, 41, of Eldora, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 19th at Unity Point Health Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:30 AM at the Chapel on the Hill in Eldora. There will be no public visitation and committal rites will be private. The family requests that flowers be delivered to their home in Eldora.

Bo was born on November 29, 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Kenneth David Sr. & Evelyn (McCauley) Bosely. He grew up in Pasadena, Maryland. From the age of 14, Bo began his lifelong career of construction. In March 1996, Bo met Bunny May and the two were later united in marriage on May 15, 1998 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Together, they welcomed 4 beautiful children into their family. The family moved to Eldora in 2009 and Bo started his own business, owning and operating Bo's Home Improvement & Handyman Services.

He enjoyed woodworking and working on bikes, especially his kids and other children in the community, free of charge. He was a wonderful cook and baker, making many meals for local families to bring joy and comfort into their home. He was self-taught, learning any chance he could. Bo lived for putting a smile on someone else's face, hoping to brighten their day. His family wants Bo to be remembered for his big heart. He was a selfless man, always wanting to do for others before himself. He was a devoted husband and father and although he made a large impact on this earth, his memory will never be forgotten.

Bo is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Bunny of Eldora; children Destyn (14), Skyla (13), Mystyk (11), Elektra (10) and adopted son Nathan (7); mother Evelyn Bosely of Glen Burnie, MD; father-in-law William May and mother-in-law Rena May; sisters Terry Daniels of Eldora and April (BJ) Slater of North Carolina; brother Jerry Bosely of Iowa; nephew Charles Daniels Jr. and nieces Nichole Marie Daniels and Victoria Joy Gibson; uncle Big Jerry McCauley; father figure to several local kids. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Bosely Sr.; brother Steven McCauley and sister Lena Marie Bosely.
