Keith Wendell Moore, 84, of Eldora, formerly of Aurora, MO, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. The family will hold services and inurnment privately at a later date.
Keith was born on July 1, 1931, in Hastings, Iowa to his parents Edd and Lida (Hensen) Moore. He attended Villisca High School in Villisca, Iowa. Keith worked as a butcher for many years, both in Iowa and Missouri. He was united in marriage to Veva Nisely on January 21, 1950 in Villisca, Iowa; together they welcomed three daughters into their family.
He was an active member of the Lions Club in Aurora, MO. There he received many honors including serving as its president for two terms. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards and spent many happy hours woodworking. He was an active volunteer in his church. His true joy in life came from spending time with his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his wife Veva of Eldora, Iowa; his daughters Jodene (Jack) Witmer, Diane (Mark) Ryerson and Jana Corkrean; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and one expected. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and son-in-law Richard Corkrean.
