Kathryn Harrenstein, 82, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Grundy Center, Iowa, of natural causes.
Kathryn was born December 5, 1925 in Grundy Center, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Emma (Dirks) Weseman. She received her education form Grundy Center High School graduating in 1943. On November 15, 1946 Kathryn was united in marriage to Edwin Harrenstein. Kathryn worked for the united Postal Service at Dike, Iowa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center, a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include a daughter Sheryl and her husband Jeff Schott of Waterloo, Iowa, two sisters Jean Raab of Grundy Center and Darlene and her husband Elmer Willms of Dike, Iowa one brother George Weseman of Grundy Center and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, and one sister Ruth Eilers.
