Kathleen Zue McCall
Kathleen (Kathy) McCall, of Eldora, passed away on May 1, 2024, at Holland Farms in Norwalk, Iowa.
She was born March 3, 1947, in Marshalltown, daughter of Hattie Neessen. Kathy graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1965 and attended Ellsworth Community College for one year. Kathy married David McCall on August 6, 1971, at the Eldora First Baptist Church. She worked at the law firm of Lundy, Butler, Wilson, & Hall for seven years; one year at the Admissions Office, Iowa State University in Ames; part-time at the Hardin County Clerk of Court; and as secretary for AEA 267 Eldora Satellite Office in Eldora for 20 years until her retirement in December 2008. Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church in Eldora, actively serving as a Sunday School teacher, singing in the church choir, church treasurer and church secretary.
Kathleen is survived by her husband David; sons Matthew of Phoenix, AZ, Andrew (Jennifer) of Norwalk, IA and a grandson, Luke of Norwalk.
She is preceded in death by her mother, brother-in-law Lauren McCall, and sister-in-law Sharon McCall Eggleston.
A private viewing and graveside will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the family, and they will distribute to Suncrest Home Health and Hospice.
