Joshua Tremmel

Joshua I. Tremmel, 31, of Gifford, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2011. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 2 pm at the Pine Lake Lodge in Eldora. Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora is in charge of arrangements.
Josh was born on July 13, 1979, in Dennison, Iowa, the son of Larry & Judith (Rogers) Tremmel. He lived in several communities throughout his life, including Templeton, Eldora, Gladbrook and Gifford. Josh attended school in Eldora and in the Gladbrook/Reinbeck Community School district. He later received his GED from the Iowa Valley Continuing Education Program.
Josh worked various jobs including electrical and construction work. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms, fishing and liked to work on old cars. He recently became interested in old artifacts, collecting arrowheads and rocks.
He is survived by his father Larry Tremmel of Gifford; daughters Patience Marie of Grainger, IA, Jayden Rhea of Iowa Falls, IA and Faith Ann of Traer, IA; sisters Heather Tremmel of Eldora & Kate Tremmel of Cedar Rapids and a brother Todd Alley of West Virginia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Tremmel; paternal grandparents James & Francis Tremmel & maternal grandparents Harold & Avis Rogers.
