Jessie C. Watt, 56, of Eldora, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home following a sudden illness. A private family memorial service for Jesse will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made with the Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora, Iowa.
Jessie Coleman Watt, son of Arvin and Mary Sharp Watt was born February 11, 1960 in Macon, Mississippi. Jessie moved with his family to Memphis, Tennessee and then to Webster City, Iowa in 1975, where he received his education from the Webster City Community Schools. On October 24, 1980 he married Linda Marie Stewart in Webster City, Iowa. Jessie was employed for Hobbs Loading in Ellsworth, IA, worked for several years at North Central Turf in Webster City as a landscaper, and worked for two years at Children and Family Resources also in Webster City. He enjoyed country music, movies, was an Elvis Presley enthusiast and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Watt of Eldora; 14 grandchildren, including Sky (Kameron) Boyer; five great grandchildren including Cambree and Peyton Boyer; step children, Steven Anderson of Williams, Bobby Worthen and Billy Dean Worthen both of Iowa; sisters, Norma (Garry) Snyder of Eagle Grove, IA, Janice Vanhorn of Guthenberg, NE. and Elizabeth Watt of Tainey County, MO.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rebecca Watt.
