J.C. Frampton, 82, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2008.
J. C. Frampton was born on September 19, 1925 in Allerton, Iowa. He was the son of Ralph and Donna (Bruner) Frampton. He enlisted in the Army Air Force and was in the 8
th
Air Force Stationed in England during WWII. He married LaVonne Cheeseman on April 11, 1948 in Reinbeck, Iowa.
He worked at the John Deere Tractor Works in Waterloo and retired in 1982 ager 34 years. J.C. enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed wintering in Arizona.
He is survived by his wife: LaVonne; a son: Steven and his wife Kathy Frampton of Gilbertville, Iowa; two grandchildren: Jenna and Collin all of Gilbertville, Iowa; two brothers: George and his wife Charlene Frampton of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Bill and his wife Lucille Frampton of Corydon, Iowa; three sisters: Rosemary and her husband Wayne Roe of Allerton, Iowa, Betty and her husband Bob Rockhold of Corydon, Iowa, and Sue Cooper of Laredo, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jack.
