James S. Readel, 66, of Eldora, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at his home in Eldora of natural causes. A gathering of friends and family celebrating James' life will be held on Friday, November 1st starting at 4 P.M. at the American Legion Club, 1215 Washington St., Eldora, Iowa.
James was in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1972.
He enjoyed his friends, motorcycling and shooting. He will be missed very much by his friends and family he leaves behind.
James is survived by his 2 sisters, Trudy Edner & Judy Miller, both of Atlantic, IA; 2 nieces; many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert & Freda Janssen; his mother Anna Paulsen; brother Robert Paulsen.
