James Edward Randall, age 53, of Dike, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Services will be held at a later date.
Jimbo was born on February 23, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa to his parents Glenn and Lucille (Wulf) Randall. He attended Dike High School. Jimbo was married to Roxanne Truax on October 27, 1979 in Spearville, Kansas. Together they welcomed their daughter Brenda into their family. They later divorced but remained good friends.
Jimbo began a career as a welder in Kansas; working for several companies such as Crust Busters of Spearville, Kansas. He moved back to Iowa in 1990 and went to work for Top Air Manufacturing in Parkersburg, Iowa.
Jimbo was a member of the First Congregational Church of Parkersburg. He was an avid fisherman, played cards and dice, loved country music and dancing with his little girl.
Jimbo is survived by his father Glenn Randall; daughter Brenda Miller; grandchildren Samantha, Christa and Brady Freeseman; sisters Mary Randall and Marj (Shawn) Stout and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Lucille and granddaughter Alexis Freeseman.
