Henrietta H. Hansen, 92, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Wednesday ? October 17, 2007, at the Grundy Center Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Grundy Center, Iowa.
Henrietta was born May 30, 1915, in Shell Rock, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Foska ?Kate? (Carjen) Oldenburger. Henrietta grew up in the Shell Rock and Parkersburg area. On December 4 1953 she was united in marriage to Paul Hansen at her father?s home in Parkersburg. The couple moved to farm in the Grundy Center area January 1, 1954 after their marriage. Henrietta was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center.
She is survived by her sister Gertie Mason of Aplington, Iowa and Minnie Oldenburger of Parkersburg, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1985, three brothers: Fred, Bill and Frank Oldenburger and two brothers in infancy.
