Harriet Stoner, 68, of Holland, Iowa, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.
Harriet L. (Meester) Stoner was born August 16, 1938, in rural Grundy County, the daughter of Henry and Toma Meester. Harriet attended and graduated from Grundy Center High School. Harriet was a bus driver for Grundy Center School district for 35 years. Harriet liked to play golf, travel and make trips to the area casinos. Most of all she loved to spend time with family and friends.
Harriet is survived by her three sons, Rick and wife Jennifer of Grundy Center; Terry and wife Joan of Hudson; Jamie and Trish; eleven grandchildren; special friend, Roger Horton of Holland; and sister-in-law Mary Meester of Parkersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arthur and Vernon Meester; and sister, Ella Meester.
