Frances Cooper

Frances Cooper, 94, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck. Frances was born April 10, 1913 in Whitten, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Cora (Newby) Eggleston. Frances attended and graduated from Whitten High School. Frances was united in marriage to John Cooper on January 10, 1935 in Whitten, Iowa. During their life together they farmed and ran a RV sales business. In their free time they spent traveling the United States and Canada traveling in their motor home. After retiring they spent their summers at the cabin at Red Lake, Minnesota and the winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Frances enjoyed dancing, cooking, trips to the casino. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grand and great-grand children.

She is survived by her children, Garry L. (Charlene) Cooper of Donna, Texas; Patricia (Gayle) Lorenz of Hudson, Iowa; Tom (Judy) Cooper of Waterloo, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, June Eggleston of Des Moines, Iowa.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, John; daughter, Mary Jo Cooper; four brothers and 2 great grandchildren.
