Eugene Zielske

Eugene Zielske, 77, of Eldora, died from natural causes on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at the Valley View Nursing and Rehab Center in Eldora. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Eugene Frederick Zielske was born September 29, 1929, in Eldora, Iowa, the son of Frederick and Amanda Zielske. He graduated from Eldora High School in 1947. In 1963 he was united in marriage to Martha Lou Sears at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Zeke worked as a carpenter for Eckle and Folkerts construction in Steamboat Rock, Iowa. He then worked as a tiler for Shore Construction of Eldora, Iowa. Zeke then worked at the State Training School as a Cottage Parent. Before he retired he ran the Maid Rite in Steamboat Rock, Iowa.
He is survived by his 3 step-sons: Don Sears and his wife Daphne of Union, Iowa, Claude Sears of Webster City, Iowa, and James Sears of Steamboat Rock, Iowa; and a grandson: Zach Sears of Marshalltown, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Martha on August 23, 1999; 2 step-daughters: Phyllis Sears and Beverly Eggelston; a step-son: Sam Sears; 2 brothers: Bobby Zielske, as a child, and Richard Zielske.
