Erla M. "Peggy" Schodeberg, 80, of Eldora, IA, died on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Eldora Nursing and Rehab Center while under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. Following cremation, graveside services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Eldora City Cemetery. Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora is in charge of the arrangements. Peggy was born July 15, 1933 in Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of Charles D. and Allie M. (Hodge) Shueller. She graduated from Eldora High School and then attended beauty school. In May of 1981 Peggy was united in marriage to Ronald Schodeberg.
She enjoyed reading and spending time at the library, watching movies, and watching WWE wrestling on TV.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; sons, Steven (Dorothy) Lowry of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Wayne Schodeberg of Eldora; brother, Jim Schueller of Eldora; and by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her parents; sister, Joyce Reimann; and brother, Larry Schueller.
