ElVera Reisinger

ElVera Pratt Reisinger, 85 of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck, Iowa, while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Funeral services and burial will be held privately by the family.

ElVera was born in Alden, Iowa on September 12, 1929, the daughter of Asa Stone Pratt and Mabel Grace Pratt (Sisson). She attended school in Waterloo and was united in marriage to Kenneth Reisinger on November 16, 1948 in Michigan. She sold clothes for Queensway to Fashion for 19 years. She was also the owner of ElVera's Fashions in Reinbeck for 8 years and then opened ElVera's Fashions in Waterloo Iowa. ElVera was a member of the Reinbeck Chamber of Commerce and the Izaak Walton Ickettes.

ElVera is survived by her sons Randy (Sherianda) Reisinger of Sun Valley, NV, Jeff (Rhonda) Reisinger of Aplington, IA and Kevin (Betty) Reisinger of Lakeland, FL; daughter Sandy (James) Sackett of Waterloo, IA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Martha Westendorf and Norma Glaspie and brother Bob Pratt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ken; sisters Clara, Irene and Helen and brother Bill.
