Elaine K. Baugh, 63, of Steamboat Rock, Iowa, died on Friday, January 7, 2011, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, Iowa. Following cremation, Elaine's family will gather to greet friends from 5 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora. Elaine was born September 18, 1947 in Eldora, Iowa, daughter of Leo and Sherlotta "Lottie" (Sapp) Steinfeldt. She has lived in the Steamboat Rock-Eldora area her entire life and enjoyed gathering with her friends for coffee at the Weathered Wheel in Eldora. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy Baugh of Steamboat Rock, Daniel Baugh of Eldora, Vickie (Brian) Lemke of Grinnell, and Scott (Reina) Maley of Steamboat Rock; by brother, Jerry Steinfeldt of Hubbard; grandchildren, Kevin, Angie, Karri, Angel, Amanda, Abby, Scott Jr., and Caitlin; and by great-grandchildren, Gena and Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Steinfeldt.
