Edith S. Moeller, 93, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013, at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck while under the care of Iowa Hospice. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4 from 5pm to 7pm at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 5 at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck with Pastor Joel Love and Hospice Chaplain Mary Beth Siemann officiating. Burial will follow at the Reinbeck Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.abelsfuneralhomes.com .

Edith was born January 27, 1920 in Toledo, Iowa, daughter of Ralph and Kaleta (Youngman) Reinig. She graduated from Toledo High School in 1937 then attended Pitz's Beauty School graduating in 1940. On June 12, 1943 she was united in marriage to Burdette H. Moeller. They made their home and farmed near Dinsdale, Iowa.

She was a member of the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck, enjoyed gardening and canning, and making angel food cakes on special occasions. The joy of her life was her family and grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Harry Moeller and his wife Linda of Buckingham, Iowa and Marilyn Coulthard and her husband Alvin of Ionia, Iowa; sister, Thelma (Lyle) Lage of Gladbrook; sister-in-law, Jvonne Moeller of Grundy Center; by 6 grandchildren, Erin, Mathew (Erin), Kristin, Austin, Jeffrey, and Amy (Michael); and great-grandson, Jameson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Burdette, on December 12, 1999; and brother, Melvin Reinig.
