Donald Frank Zielske, 91, of Eldora, died from natural causes on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the Ellsworth Memorial Hospital in Iowa Falls, Iowa.
Donald was born June 23, 1914 on a farm near Hubbard, Iowa, son of Frank and Clara ?Pagel? Zielske. On June 13, 1936 at the Lutheran Parsonage in Hubbard he was united in marriage to Bonnie Mumper. Don farmed and then went to work for the Steamboat Rock Cheese Factory, retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Don loved to fish and garden.
Surviving Donald are three daughters: Jeanine Frier of Reinbeck, Iowa, Lois Finger of Steamboat Rock, Iowa, and Barbara Crosser of Ackley, Iowa 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Bonnie; infant daughter: Donna Lois; and three sons ? in ? law: Gerald Freier, Donald Finger, and Kenneth Crosser.
