Donald C. Stewart, 85, of Reinbeck, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Grundy Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 13
th
, 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center with Pastor Tom Bower officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of funeral services at 10:30 am at the church. Burial will follow funeral services at the Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck.
Don was born November 9, 1924 to Clarence and Freda (Weise) Stewart of Reinbeck, IA. He owned his own detailing car business in Reinbeck for many years. Don loved to listen to polka and symphony music and collect Franklin Mint Cars. He loved the Chevrolets the most.
He is survived by his cousins Miriam McDonald and Jean Huffman of Dayton, OH and many friends.
The family would like to thank Bethany Presbyterian Church, Pastor Tom Bower, Howard and Ramona Hanson, Gale and Dixie Venenga, the Grundy Long Term Care Center and the Dutchman at Dumont for all the love and help they gave Don in his time of need.
