David Williams

David Ronald Williams, 53 of Dike, died Saturday June, 24, 2006 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.



David was born December 17, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois the son of William Langley Williams and Barbara Ann (Herman) Williams. On July 29, 1989 he was united in marriage to Laura Jean Whedon in Schaumburg, Illinois David worked as a Railroad Engineer for the Canadian National Railroad. The couple have lived in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Wishek, North Dakota and Dike, Iowa. David was a member of the Fredsville Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Cedar Falls, Iowa.



He was preceded in death by his father William Langley Williams; his mother Barbara Chiman; his grandparents Marion and Henry Herman, and Walter and Minnie Williams; and a sister Judy Williams.



Survivors include his wife Laura of Dike, Iowa; daughter Sarah and her husband Cory Kramer of Elgin, Illinois; daughter Nicole and her husband Augie Rodriguez of Elgin, Illinois; a son David Williams Jr. of Dike, Iowa; and daughters Anna and Emma Williams of Dike, Iowa; a granddaughter Alice Kramer; a step ? father Juan Chiman of Barnesville, Georgia; a sister Susan Herman and her husband Ron Lien of Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin; a brother Daniel and his wife Celia Williams of Barnesville, Georgia; a sister Laura and her husband Mark Seelinger of Creedmoor, North Carolina; a sister Vanessa and her husband Bryan Patch of Lisle, Illinois; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
