Daniel Drury

Daniel F. Drury, Jr. age 43 of Eldora, Iowa, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora. Burial will follow at Eldora City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora. Memorials may be made directed to the family.

Daniel was born in Eldora, Iowa on July 20, 1967 to his parents Daniel and Carol Drury. He was a life long resident of Eldora and graduated from the Eldora/New Providence High School with the class of 1986. Daniel began his career working as a mechanic for several dealerships. In 1996 he decided to open his own business which he named Drury Automotive. Daniel was known for his love of cars and was an avid auto race enthusiast.

Daniel is survived by his son Daniel J. Drury; grandsons, Jaxson and Logen; parents Daniel F. Drury, Sr. and Carol Drury; sister Tracey (Tim Card) Drury-Card; nephew Blake; nieces Brittnie and Blaire; uncle Glen Gaede. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents
