Daniel G. Cross, 56, of Jesup, formerly of Eldora, passed away at home on November 28, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the

Daniel was born on May 3, 1953 in Chicago, the son of Joan Krominga Cross. He attended school in the
Eldora
School
System and he later moved to the Gifford/Eldora area. Daniel later welcomed a daughter.
In 1983, he moved to
Marshalltown
, where he remained until moving to
Waterloo
in the early 2000’s. He was most recently employed by Tyson Foods in
Waterloo
. Daniel enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing guitar, collecting toys, playing pranks on people, eating junk food, was an avid movie lover and he loved going to the Half Pint almost everyday after work.
Daniel is survived by his daughter Kristy (Mark) Quillen of
Rippey

; grandchildren Jayden Daniel and Quintyn Ace; step-grandson
Hollywood
; brother Dennis Cross of MN; many aunts uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Cross.
