Daniel Baugh, 43, of Eldora, Iowa died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, Iowa. A gathering to celebrate Daniel's life will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 22, 2011, at Deer Park in Eldora. Daniel Lee Baugh was born in Iowa City, Iowa on August 12, 1968 the son of Jimmie and Elaine (Steinfeldt) Baugh. He attended Cedar Falls High School and graduated with the class of 1986. After graduation Dan worked at many jobs and most recently worked for the local lumber yard.
Dan loved racing especially NASCAR, where he was a big fan of both Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt JR. He loved to ride his Harley and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine
Dan is survived by his father; Jimmie Baugh of Texas, one sister, Vickie ( Brian) Lemke of Grinnell; two brothers, Jimmy Baugh of Marshalltown and Scott Maley of Pella; a daughter; Angel of Eldora; girlfriend, Brenda Lurvey of Eldora; nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephew.
