Dana L. Cockerham, 60, of Coralville, Iowa and formerly of Eldora, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Grand JiVante in Ackley, Iowa while under the care of Hospice Compassus. Private family services will be held at a later date. Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora, Iowa is caring for Dana and his family.
Dana Lee Cockerham, son of Clarence and Shirley Mueller Cockerham was born on May 25, 1956 in Eldora, Iowa. Dana lived in Eldora for several years until moving to Iowa City. He received his education and graduated from the University of Iowa Hospital School. Dana enjoyed camping, fishing, art and listening to music. He especially loved his dogs.
Survivors include his sister, Cara Loewen of Hubbard, IA; brothers, Daniel Cockerham of Coralville, IA, Stuart Cockerham of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Dana was preceded in death by his parents.
