Carrian "Carrie" Louise Muller, 90, passed away of natural causes on Monday, November 20, 2006 in Humboldt, Iowa.

Carrie was born at home in Colfax Township, Grundy Co., Iowa, the daughter of John and Kate (Harms) Finke on June 5, 1916. On December 3, 1941 Carrie married Klaas Muller in at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Wellsburg, Iowa.. The couple farmed in the Grundy and Butler county area for over 30 years retiring and moving to Grundy Center in 1972. Carrie then worked for several years at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in the laundry department. Carrie was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church for many years.

Carrie is survived by her son: Calvin and his wife Kay Muller of Humboldt, Iowa, and a daughter: Eunice McMillin of Elkader, Iowa; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; and a sister: Edna Meyer of Holland, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Kate Finke, her husband: Klaas; a grandson: Bradley McMillin; 3 brothers: Chris, Ebe and John Finke; 5 sisters: Sophie Stickfort, Martha Heinrich, Lena Ross, and Minnie Schmidt and an infant sister Louise Finke; and a foster brother: Charles Marquardt.
