Caroline A. Fuls, 81, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Tuesday,, October 28, 2014, at her home while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, 10:30 A.M. at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00, Friday, October 31, 2014 at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Burial will follow funeral services at Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Caroline Anna was born on February 5, 1933, in Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Karjens) Brower. She grew up in the Ackley area. She attended school in Ackley. She married Gene Fuls on February 25, 1949 at First Presbyterian Church in Ackley.
Caroline was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed baking cookies and cakes, camping, quilting, knitting, crocheting, traveling and wintering in Texas. Most of all Caroline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Caroline is survived by her daughters; Mary (Gary) Diekman Of Kempner, TX, Patricia (Terry) Freeze of Dubuque, IA, Betty (Gene) Schuck of Parkersburg, IA, Renita Bacon of Grundy Center, IA, Sharon Metz of Shepherdsville, KY; sisters, Grace Meents, Anna Mae Brower both of Grundy Center, IA; brother John Brower of Grundy Center, IA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Albert; brother, Bill (Anna) Wilson; sisters, Henrietta (George) Smeins, Marie Diehl; brothers-in-law, George Smeins, John Meents.
