Carol Stone

Carol G. Stone, 73, of Reinbeck, Iowa, died Sunday, August 31, 2008, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck of Parkinson's, while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Carol was born on September 12, 1934, in Blairstown, Iowa, the daughter of Clayton and Grace (Grimmius) Cramer. She was raised in the Reinbeck area and graduated from Reinbeck High School in 1953. On November 29, 1952, she was united in marriage to Eugene Stone at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck, Iowa. They always made their home in Reinbeck, where she owned and operated Reinbeck Cleaners for 37 years. Carol was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Carol enjoyed camping and traveling with Gene across the country in their motor home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Reinbeck. She is survived by her husband Gene Stone of Reinbeck; one daughter- Barbara Miller and her husband Yontz of Washington; two sons-Dave Stone and his wife Kim of Iowa, Timothy Stone of Oregon; three grandchildren and four great - grandchildren; one brother- Albert Cramer; one sister-Mae Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister-Mary Ann Cramer.
