Alice L. Kosanke, 83, of Salem, Arkansas, formerly of Eldora, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Eldora. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow funeral services at the Eldora City Cemetery in Eldora.
Alice was born on August 20, 1928 in Eldora, Iowa, the daughter of Emil & Lucy (Nassen) Kosanke. Alice moved to Arkansas in the 1970's, where she did missionary work for many years.
Alice is survived by her nephew Jerilei Harms of Iowa Falls and a niece Judy (Dan) Swesey of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Gladys Mae Kosanke Harms & brother Irvin Kosanke; a niece Katy Lu Harms.
