Albert Howard, 55, of Morrison died on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5 pm to 8 pm at French Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck. Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery rural Clarksville, Iowa. A memorial fund has been established.
Albert Harold Howard was born September 11, 1957 in Waverly, Iowa he was the son of Marvin and Beverly (Loomis) Roum. He grew up in the Reinbeck and Morrison areas. Albert worked and dedicated 20 plus years for Ultra-Flow in Morrison.
He enjoyed turtle hunting, watching westerns, professional wrestling, trips to casinos, and grilling. Albert had a love for the Beatles and he knew the words to their songs. His freedom was riding his moped around the countryside. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Albert was known to many as the gentle giant because his big heart.
Albert is survived by brothers and sisters, Duane Marvin (Diane) Roum of Haverhill, IA, Connie Lynn Roum of Reinbeck, Marvin Michael Roum and fiancée Renee Bockholt of Elk Run Heights and Linda Kay Roum of Morrison; and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
