Adrienne Choate

March 18, 1977 — August 2, 2015

Adrienne Jean Choate, 38, of Wellsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Illinois. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Steamboat Rock Cemetery. Inurnment will follow the service at the cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Adrienne was born on March 18, 1977, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Richard & Linda (Sharp) Fox. In 1982, Adrienne and her family moved to Stanton, Nebraska where she attended school and later moved to Clear Lake, South Dakota where she graduated from Deuel High School with the class of 1996.

On June 14, 1996, Adrienne married Darwin Reverts. The couple had a son, Shawn. The two later divorced. Adrienne then moved to Webster City, Iowa, where she met David Choate. They were married on July 1, 2006 at her parent's home in Wellsburg. Adrienne and David welcomed daughter Shelby into their family and made their home in Wellsburg, where she had lived since 2005.

Adrienne enjoyed bowling and had a passion for painting. She was kind-hearted and always wanted to help others. Most importantly, she was a very loving and doting mother. She will be missed very much by her family and friends, but Adrienne will never be forgotten. Her memory will be a light to guide those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her parents Richard & Linda Fox of Wellsburg; son Shawn Reverts of Wellsburg & daughter Shelby Choate of Webster City, IA; brothers Neil (Carol) Fox of Oelwein, IA & Aron Fox of Wellsburg; maternal grandmother Delores Sharp of Wellsburg and paternal grandmother Betty Fox of Lincoln, NE; uncle Ken (Chris) Fox of Lincoln, NE and their 2 children; special friend Troy Worthing of Wellsburg. Adrienne was preceded in death by her first husband Darwin; maternal grandfather Arnold Sharp and paternal grandfather Eldon Fox; uncle Ron Sharp.
