Ada Wilkinson

Ada Marie Wilkinson, 96, of Tomball, TX, former longtime resident of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008.

She was born September 19, 1911, in Lucas County, IA to Chester and Ida (Duntley) Eubank. She married Walter Loren Wilkinson on January 9, 1932, and they farmed in the Grundy County area until retiring from the farm in 1976. Ada and Loren were ardent "snowbirds" and spent 28 winters in Pharr, TX. Ada had many hobbies and interests that included crafts, crocheting, dancing, and painting. While living in the Reinbeck area, she was a member of the Reinbeck Methodist Church.



In 2000, Ada moved to an assisted living facility in Tomball, TX near her daughter Jane Folkerts. Ada especially looked forward to weekly Sunday dinners with her family. She is survived by 2 sons, Allan (Dora) Wilkinson of Edgewater, FL, Hollis (Glenda) Wilkinson of Pequot Lakes, MN, and 1 daughter, Jane (Don) Folkerts of Spring, TX; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Loren in September 2000; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
